You and your job As a Privacy Officer, you are part of the Data Protection Specialists (DPS) team in the Global Privacy Office. DPS consists of circa 10 colleagues. You advise our colleagues in the first line of responsibility on their Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIAs), focusing especially on the Retail and Financial Economic Crime (FEC) domains. Getting great privacy advise to our first-line colleagues enables them to balance risk, return, and sustainability and contributes to being a rock-solid bank. Your main responsibility You provide actionable advise to our colleagues in the first line of responsibility on their Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs). You make sure that our internal clients receive advice tailored to their situation, and are satisfied with the level of professionalism and expertise exhibited in the advice. This involves:  analysing the DPIA and requesting additional information as needed in a risk-based manner;  drafting a substantiated advices, including proactive consideration of possible mitigating measures;  cooperating with colleagues in the Global Privacy Office and Compliance;  writing your advice in plain language, reflecting key considerations and additional risk reducing measures that you deem necessary. Knowledge of financial products and/or FEC Regulations is a plus as is prior experience at Rabobank is a plus.  You are passionate and knowledgeable about Data Protection. Proven knowledge, for instance through a CIPP/E certification, is a plus.
